Some photographers might experience some difficulties handling a flash unit while shooting the photo at the same time. More often, they need an assistant to trigger the remote flash while exchanging hand signals to prepare for the shot. Photographers may have been used to it, but is there no other way? With the new wireless radio-based Flash trigger control, capturing photos can be done using just one hand. The unit has two parts, a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter hooks up into the camera’s hotshoe, meanwhile, the receiver is attached to the hotshoe base of the flash unit.
The system goes like this, when you tend to capture a photo, a wireless signal is sent to the receiver from the transmitter in order to trigger the flash. With this system, you are sure that the camera and the flash unit will fire in sync. Now you don’t have to worry about errors regarding the two unit’s synchronization, though it’s only effective within a distance of 30m.
