AT&T San Francisco outage caused by hardware problem

AT&T still experiences problems especially when instances like hardware problems occur which caused outage on 3-G voice and data networks, but is expected to be fixed sooner. Several customers reported via twitter, SMS, and data transfer capability for several hours. AT&T spokesman didn’t mention on how wide the scope of the incident is. It is important for a company’s image to respond as soon as possible if problems like this occur. AT&T apologizes to the fellow customers who had experienced problem in San Francisco and NY City. AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega made mention recently that the company will improve their services on those cities, based on a news report. The failure didn’t affect the carriers older and slower GSM or EDGE according to Siegel.
