Want T-Mobile G2? Pre-order Starts Now
This is a call for all T-Mobile customers across the country; in case you haven’t already noticed, T-Mobile has started taking pre-orders for their new G2 smartphone today.

Get it now -- you know you want to.
The T-Mobile G2 resembles the look and innards of the recently introduced HTC Desire Z. However, the G2 differs slightly in that it is designed to be compatible with the high speed HSPA+ network that T-mobile is rolling out. Theoretically, the G2 can illegally download those mp3s and videos at a blazing speed of up to 14.4 megabits per second.
If you are looking for a top of the line QWERTY smartphone that runs Android 2.2 OS and comes with built-in Google Voice, as well as a heap of other preloaded Google apps – then the G2 demands your attention. The phone has a 3.7-inch touchscreen with a 800×480 resolution.
With a 2-year contract, the T-Mobile G2 will set you back $200 after a $50 rebate. Ordering the phone before August 4 will ensure you getting it by October 6, which is its official date of availability.
