We Want Better Carrier, Says Unhappy iPhone Users
A recent study conducted by Deloitte reveals that almost half of current iPhone owners in the US, naturally on AT&T, would be interested in moving to other wireless provider, specifically Verizon, once it’s become available. Clearly, the people on the survey didn’t regard AT&T highly enough to wanting to stick with the carrier.

While a bad smartphone experience can be put down to two factors: the hardware itself and the carrier, in this case, many users are blaming AT&T for their lack of perfect experience. Since AT&T will lose its iPhone exclusivity in 2012, it would be interesting to see if people would really flock to its nemesis Verizon to get their dose of apps and Jobs.
Interestingly enough, Apple and Verizon are reported to be working on a CDMA version of the iPhone. And it’s coming sooner rather than later. According to rumors, the CDMA iPhone is already in production – all 3 millions of them — and will be ready for launch in early 2011.
If this is true, AT&T will then have a reason to worry.
