Toshiba Launches 3DTV, Blu-ray Player in the US; WX800 and BDX3000
A new set of 3D TV and Blu-ray player is coming to our soil, this time courtesy of Toshiba. The new Toshiba WX800 3D TV series mark the first offering of the company for the US market.

The WX800 is equipped with a LED-backlit LCD at 240Hz that can produce 7,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. It also comes with an integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi, which will enable its users to connect to various Internet services such as Flickr, Netflix, Pandora, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. Aside from having four HDMI inputs, the WX800 has SDHC card slots and USB devices.
You can select between two WX800 models; the 46-inch or the 55-inch version; they retail for $2,600 and $3,300 – respectively.
As for the Toshiba BDX3000 Blu-ray player, it is similar to the BDX3100 recently released in Europe. The BDX3000 can play multimedia files directly from your USB or SDHC card. It can decode Dolby TrueHD, Essential HD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
The BDX3000 is already up for order in the US and can be yours for $250.
