LG Gets Fashionable with LG Optimus Chic and Optimus One
Is there anything more chic in the smartphone universe than to name your new phone “chic”? At least LG Electronics thinks so, as it unveils the new LG Optimus Chic and Optimus One. The two new models are just another batch of affordable Android phones that the company is pushing to the market.

Oh my, what pretty.... phones.
Being the two less expensive models from LG, it doesn’t mean that the company is holding back putting complete features on the phones. Both Optimus models sport a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 480×320 resolution. The two models will run on a reasonably fast 600MHz Qualcomm chip and have 3G capability, GPS, WiFi and Android 2.2 OS.
Though both models share some similarities, the LG Optimum Chic has the better specs, which include a 5MP camera, 30fps video capturing, DLNA media sharing, and the option to sync the phone wirelessly to the PC. The LG Optimum One, on the other hand, only has a 3MP camera with 18fps video capturing. Weirdly, the Chic packs smaller battery capacity than the One – 1,250mAh cell compared to 1,500mAh cell.
The price for both models hasn’t been confirmed yet, expect it to be on the cheaper side. Both phones will ship soon in Europe with no US release date in sight for now.
