Facebook’s New Feature Lets You Subscribe to Friends and Pages
Social networking giant Facebook introduces a new feature on its website that makes it easy for users to stalk follow their friends and certain Pages.

The new “Subscribe” feature on Facebook will enable users to receive notifications whenever new updates or contents are available for selected users and Pages. This would come in handy for those who have more than 100 friends, but only intend to get updates from a select few on their newsfeed.
Instead of being barraged with updates from all their “friends”, users can select to follow only their close friends and will get the updates in the notification stream. This includes new comments that they made, photos and video uploaded, notes and links posted and more.
For the time being, the new subscribe feature is only made available for a very limited percentage of users. It is still unclear when the feature will be rolled out to all users. We also don’t know for now if you’re able to subscribe to someone who isn’t on your friend’s list. So it might be a little early to call this as the Twitter killer, though it does remind us a wee bit about Twitter’s follow feature.
