iPhone 4 Unlock Tool Released
Following the release of the jailbreaking software for the Apple iPhone 4 – it really was just a matter of time before an unlocking tool was made available – and the iPhone Dev team didn’t disappoint on that front.

Now you can use the iPhone on any carriers.
Today, it announced a new version of the infamous iPhone carriers unlocking tool, which will allow the phone to be used with any working SIM module. Of course, for folks in the U.S., T-Mobile seems to be the only other option.
The new unlocking tool, dubbed the ultrasn0w 1.01-1, will work on iPhone 4 baseband 01.59 or 3G/3GS baseband 04.26.08, 05.11.07 and 05.13.04. We’re not very good with math, but really, those numbers just mean that any current iPhone 3G/3GS/4 can be unlocked.
Listen, we are not going to tell you how to unlock your iPhone. But a quick search on the keyword ‘ultrasn0w’ on Google can easily lead you to the right direction. The phone needs to be jailbroken first, though, if you want to use the unlocking tool.
Some words of precaution – remember that there are risks involved in jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhone. There are some spoilsports out there who like to take advantage and hack your phone. So make sure you know what you’re doing. Apart from that – enjoy!
