Asus Eee 1215N Netbook with Dual-Core Atom Debut
Asus has finally—and formally—introduced their Eee 1215N Netbook which will feature slightly of better specs in comparison to that of the earlier reports anticipated, the device will be based on Intel’s Dual-core D525 along with NVIDIA’s current generation of Ion Discrete graphics.

In terms of its battery life, it is said to be improved by means of the automatic switching between discrete and integrated graphics. The Netbook would also be boasting some really good features such as the 12.1-inch LCD with a 1366×768 resolution along with a USB 3.0 connections and Bluetooth 3.0 as well. Hardware decoder on the Ion handle video in H.264, VC-1 and MPEG-2 formats plus an HDMI out can be used to play videos at 1080p goodness on an external display.
Asus is expected to debut the 1215N initially in the Middle East although, price of the Netbook has yet to be announced by Asus.And for now, its still unclear if the company is planing to bring the device to other markets such as North America. Well, it sure gets us excited and turns us to hope that it will find its way to us.
