Steve Jobs Confirms WiFi iTunes Sync; iPhone Hold Button—Pointless?

Well, we must admit that the new iPhone 4 has been stirring the crowd but according to Steve Jobs, he has not yet given a day to celebrate along with the rest of the world. Instead, what he has been doing to keep himself busy is to catch up with all the emails that he has been getting, sending replies to all of the beloved and loyal Apple fans out there who just cant seem to stop and send in their concerns, comments, and feedbacks about the company’s devices.

Unsurprisingly though, the new smartphone has been on some of the people’s minds; Jonathan Cowperthwait wonders how will all the users put people on hold now that a FaceTime icon replaces the in-call button only to get a reply from Jobs that the buttone is intended solely to muting/unmuting and nothing else.

Finally, Rick Proctor on the other hand asked the CEO if the phone would get a WiFi syncing support between the device and iTunes on a Mac and replied, “yes, someday…” well, it’s a good news to those who have been tempted by third-party app WiFi Sync but not interested Jailbreaking their handsets and be able to have access to it.

Finally, Jobs’ sage advice to how iPhone users can avoid reception issues in the future, they might want to hold the phone the right way next time as to get the most out of what the phone can really deliver to all the consumers out there.
