Pandigital Novel, a Failure—broken WiFi Connection, Poor eReader Application
Now, knowing that the said tablet from Pandigital is available at Kohl’s, are you ready to drop that cash right there and then or do you want to think things over? Basing from what Nate has said, you might want to take things a little bit slower this time around and don’t get too overwhelmed with its existence as he found that it has a broken WiFi connection and has poor flexibility as well.
The said tablet, said to be based fully on Android, although it is heavily re-skinned, the Novel has somehow proved to react to Touchscreen presses and after Nate calibrated things over and thought even worse.
WiFi wont connect and that the company’s promise to for the device to come with a landscape mode but the option is nowhere to be found—there is no accelerometer either which seems that the option to flip the orientation is pretty much hidden more than Nate can find it.
On the other hand, the build quality of the device is somehow patchy and that the faceplate already pealing in the corner; but the most damning thing of all is the software and how poorly it caters to all the frequent readers that are likely to pick up an eReader.
