O2 Dell Streak Pricing—Confirmed!
O2 UK has officially confirmed the pricing for the Dell Streak Android MD which is rumored to arrive to the network tomorrow, both the 16GB and 32GB versions that is long been awaited by most of the Android lovers out there.
As the Carphone Warehouse, the Streak will be available from free with a new £25/month agreement; sadly though, this is only applicable if you are to take out an O2 Data-only plan; if you want voice service to come with the said phone, you would want to take a look at their offer that will somehow be at £35/month minimum if you want a “free” streak.
Both the 18- and 24-month regular voice agreements are now available, with the cheapest being 24-months for £30/month; moreover, you will be paying somehow a £149 for the 16GB Strea or £249 for the 32GB version.
Furthermore, it is said that O2 will also be offering “Simpicity” Tarrifs with either a choice of 30-day or 12-month contracts, though then you’re looking at £349 or £399 for both the 16GB and 32GB models of the said device + service respectively.
The Dell Streak is said to come with a 5-inch WVGA Touchscreen display, an Android 1.6 with Dell’s own UI—and a promised upgrade to Android 2.2 to come by later this year—together with a dualband 3G/UMTS, WiFi, GPS and a 5mp autofocus camera.
