HTC EVO 4G to acquire HDMI Video Dock



Well, thanks to a Best Buy print ad that is spreading everywhere, it showed that the HTC EVO 4G and its accessories reveals that a dock for the first US 4G handset that will hit the stores in June or about the same time as the Phone itself.

About the docks, it promises to come with an HDMI 1.4 support and would allow the EVO to output 1080p videos to external displays that can be hookwired to the device by means of the port; a microUSB port is also visible that can charge both the EVO and the doc and sync it with others it with users’ computers.

Although the docs are being released, there are limitations in terms of the video options that are brought along with it. Sprint TV and Internet videos, among the other apps, does not seem to have support with the dock’s HDMI port. The prices have not been announced yet, but the docks will be expected to go on retail somewhere at $40 and $60 per dock.

Well, we just have to wait until June before we can get to lay our hands on one of these exciting EVO docks that are exquisitely tempting, basing from the fact that it comes with the HDMI technology support, there is no telling what this baby can do when it goes live into the market.
