Today Sharkoon revealed a new external drive enclosure that lets you use a leftover 2.5-inch SATA HDD as a USB 3.0 external drive. The enclosure is open on the top, allowing the drive to be placed inside and a lid covers the whole with improved looks that makes it really cool to look at.

The enclosure would work with any 2.5-inch drive with a height that is up to 9.5mm and can connect to the PC via a USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports. The frame of the enclosure on the other hand is made from plastic and the top of the device can come in different colors.

It could come in Black, Silver or Aluminum mirror finish that all display sophistication, finesse and elegance at its finest. The enclosure measures about 135 L x 85W x 14mm H and weighs about 55 grams with no drive inside. It is available now for only 28.90 euros from Sharkoon retailers nationwide.
