T-Mobile Garminfone due June at $200
If you are were not really captivated with the LG Ally on Verizon, how about taking a look at another smartphone that is going to debut this month as well? Ladies and gentlemen, meet the T-mobile Garminfone; T-mobile has announced its pricing and (rough) availability for the Garminfone.
The said phone is said to come with Touch screen GPS-centric handset that will be unveiled late last month; the handset will drop in June and is priced at $199.99 with a new two-year agreement.
So far, there is no word of a pre-order page although, you can sign up for more information when T-mobile is ready to ship it already. The Garminfone is the latest collaborative effort of Garmin and ASUS and would come out with to the market with a 3.5-inch touch screen, 3mp camera, GPS, and the company’s own custom UI that is intended to make in-car use that makes it more straightforward.
What does this mean? Well, it means that it would record real-time weather report, traffic updates and huge point of interest database and an automatic re-routing capability—the $200 pricing still remains to be seen from all of this.
