A Closer Look at the Sigma SD15 DSLR
I recently discussed the three new cameras from Sigma and let me just take the time to take one of them, the SD15 and break down it’s amazing features which are were not done justice in the previous article that just summarized the beauty and power of this DSLR.
The Sigma SD15 Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera packs not only an ordinary 14 megapixel sensor, though 14 megapixels is nothing ordinary in itself, but being a Foveon X3 direct image sensor makes it even better because of the ability to capture all primary Red Green and Blue colors in the full pixel capacity of the image in all three layers giving you not only a beautiful image but an image that is alive with color. The SD15 has the True II image processing engine which is the successor to a popular image processing system that can handle the whole range of the 14 megapixel sensor without any sacrifices. The high definition image created by the device is rich in color and life much like what it would look like through it’s 3 inch LCD display that has as high a quality as the sensor.
The Sigma SD15 is truly a wonderful Digital SLR camera that gives the user the tool a true photographer needs.
