The LG GW990 was featured at the Consumer Electronics Show but today it has officially launched along with being the first Intel Atom recipient smart phone, it will be quite an amazing device with an amazing processor and a great operating system that is efficient and performs well.

The LG GW990 features the latest Intel Moorestown Atom processor and the latest Linux OS the Moblin 2.1 for mobile devices making an amazing tandem between three great companies to produce an excellent mobile phone that has extended battery life because of the Intel Atom that consumes up to 10 times less power than typical processors and when compared to the first generation Atom processors. The device itself is smooth and it’s resolution is amazing, the user interface is reactive and multitasking on the device is more than awesome allowing no lag or interference from one app to another even if they run simultaneously.

The device is scheduled to hit the shelves some time during the second half of this year but no price has been announced for the 4.8 touchscreen mobile phone from LG.
