Marvell recently introduced their newest mobile chip set the Pantheon Platform which uses the latest in Marvell’s Advanced Modem Technology and will be allowing mobile devices more functionality and performance efficiency than ever before allowing for better devices to be made.

The smart phone market would be the first place the Marvell Pantheon chip set will hit and would first feature on the ARMADA 618 that would possess CPU cores allowing it to perform more like a computer than a mobile device and also have 1080p full HD resolution capabilities and even go as far produce 3D. The new chip set will give a lot of new abilities to existing devices that wouldn’t have thought possible like having 3D specification on mobile devices.

The best part of the new chip set is that it is cheap to produce and would be showing up on low end devices pretty soon.
