The new iRiver N15 MP3 Player is simple, yet stylish
If you happen to know the iRiver N20 MP3 player, then you can probably relate with its cousin, the new iRiver N15 MP3 player. This cute audio device simply looks good since it has a simple design and shape which makes the N15 very suitable for the non-sophisticated keen users. However, it comes in a glossy black casing for a subtle touch of style, within the elegance.
// The iRiver N15 MP3 player can be smoothly attached to a bag, clothing or around the listener’s neck, and it can easily be mistaken for a minimalistic pendant because of its simple design. It is also embedded with PMOLED-display, and has that neat N15 engraving. Thanks to its PMOLED display, the audio player will consume less power on the battery allowing for a longer than the usual listening experience.
The iRiver N15 will have a 2 GB up to 4 GB capacities for storing music files. However, there is also an embedded FM radio when you got fed up of the music stored. The N15 will have the voice recording function and also bundles a pair of in-ear headphones. It supports MP3, WMA, WAV, APE and FLAC audio format while playback is put out in a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz with a 90dB SNR. By the way, there’s also 128 Kbps WMA format recording.
The “longer than the usual” listening experience mentioned above will last for around 12 hours and the audio device will only require 2 hours for recharging the 90 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. Though, the N15’s battery life is 3 hours shorter compared to what the N20 model offers.
