Windows Operating System Market Shares

Windows is still the lead in operating systems but the way things are going it would slowly lose it’s edge and in time would be left tremendously behind, maybe even to a point of being insignificant. It’s not much of a prediction as we can already see Windows losing it’s market to competitors and their performance as of late has not really improved their standing, people are disappointed at the fact that after so many years, Windows still performs poorly. The only reason why it still leads is because of the fact that it’s built in to most PCs and people are just used to it. That won’t protect Microsoft for so long I’m afraid.

One such market Windows is shown to be losing share significantly is the Mobile Operating System Market, a market that the iPhone OS and Android is dominating, it is the same trend that PCs will soon follow because of lack of improvement and innovation. Mobile OS like iPhone and Android break the mold in innovating Mobile Operating systems while the Windows mobile OS is just riddled with complains and bugs and the same hassles that Windows OS for computers have.

Makes me wonder where has the glorious Microsoft Windows fallen to?
