Blackberry Kisses not made of chocolate

The Blackberry is a very popular business phone used everywhere, even I got one, that is why spy ware developers all over are trying to get their evil software into our devices. Can you blame them? Even the our current President likes using the BlackBerry smartphone and what evildoer wouldn’t want to have a crack at the most powerful man on the planet right?

The Kisses software was created by Gunasekera, the director of security at Hermis Consultancy in Jakarta, Indonesia. He created a way for normal users to find active processes running on your devices and know if you have spyware hidden in there or not. Gunasekera also brought us prior to the Kisses software, a spyware which he declared as a proof-of-concept regarding the ease of being affected by a spyware using a Blackberry. The previous creation has spawned many controversies regarding the new software speculating that it might also be a form of spyware.

US-CERT announced that Blackberry users should only buy software from trusted sources or else they risk getting their devices compromised. Well either way it really is not safe for any device that holds such valuable information as spyware and other malware are rampantly spreading at cheaper prices.
