LOOQS’ MeeFrame with email and social networking support

LOOQS already have created a line up of device which includes a media storage device called MeeBox NAS and one that integrates a wireless access point which is the MeeBox Router. Now, the company’s next item would be one of the ideal gifts for the nearing Christmas holiday. LOOQS present its MeeFrame digital photo frame with WiFi.

Since the company have been working with other more complex devices, we can expect this digital photo frame to acquire more edge over other similar products. The LOOQS MeeFrame actually boasts a WiFi b/g connectivity and is capable to display local photo slideshows or contents that are streamed from social networking sites like Picasa, Flickr, and the company’s MeeChannel or even emailed photos can also be displayed.

The MeeFrame also has RSS feed display and offers audio support via an MP3 player and internet radio to provide music while viewing your photo slideshows. The audio emits on the integrated 2 watt stereo speakers but you can also use your regular headphone and plug it into the unit’s 3.5 mm headphone jack. It stores image and audio files on an internal storage with 1GB capacity but there’s also an SD card slot so you can have an extra storage via an SD card. There’s also a remote control for the unit and has PC connectivity supports through the USB 2.0 port and miniUSB port.

No pricing details yet but the LOOQS MeeFrame is expected to be present at the CES by January 2010.
