New updates for the AT&T Navigator iPhone app
Since many competing GPS apps and devices are already available on the market, an upgrade for existing navigational applications is indeed very essential to stay on the track of GPS competition. The AT&T Navigator will now get an update from AT&T along with new and exciting features. So if you sport an AT&T Navigator, make sure that you’ll get these additional functions.
The new AT&T Navigator update includes an integrated full landscape view, enhanced iPod controls with the ability to search through your songs, artists, and much more within the app. The AT&T WiFi Hotspots in the POI listings is also present along with seamless blending of navigation prompts and music.
Unlike other several iPhone GPS apps available, the AT&T Navigation app needs a cellular signal since all the maps and information are streamed in over the network.
You can get the AT&T Navigation iPhone app free of charge, provided, you have to sign up on a $9.99 a month subscription or an annual subscription for $69.99 a year. If you do not plan to use the app for a longer period of time, you can subscribe for only a month or so depending on how long you would use it and then just drop your subscription to reduce your monthly fees.
