The CG10 is an excellent casual HD camcorder with superior image quality and a flexible focus system which makes it ideal for bloggers and home or personal use. It has a bright and sharp 3” flip-out LCD display, the control buttons are all arranged to be operated by your thumb. Its maximum resolution is 720p, and what sets it apart from other similar products is it has real lens unlike other that only has fixed-focus pinhole stuff. It means the CG10 has a 5x optical zoom and better light sensitivity.

It also offers handy manual focus mode and its macro mode focuses down to 1cm. The color and sharpness is good, exposure was quite decent and you can choose from center-weighted or spot automatically. Though it can only produce quality vids in well-lit environment. Sound is pretty basic and the microphones are situated at the back of LCD.

It utilizes H.264 and MP4 files, has a tiny capacity of 40MB internal space, well its SD. The size of the CG10 is just about the size of a large mouse. It has a nice compact weight and balance regarding that it is not categorized as a pocket camcorder but it is small enough to be carried anywhere.

The Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 is up for only $200, really reasonable yet you can still find cheaper price for this.
