Remotely control your car via iPhone or iPod, just like 007

Ever been a fan of James Bond’s gadgets? I agree, they really are cool and very slick making the user to look slicker. One function I liked about his gadgets is when he controlled his car using a mobile phone. I know we want that, well there’s a new iPhone and iPod application to provide us 007 tricks. The new Viper SmartStart System, though driving the car remotely is an exception.viper-iphone-app

The new app features remote functionality to your car, like starting your car up to unlimited range, warm your car when its cold and cool your car when its hot, unlocking your car, activate alarm to protect your car and panic alarm to protect yourself. Of course, you can use these with any automobile.

Oh, I can imagine myself making pranks with my friends just by hearing that. And another thing is that the developers claims that they will add a push notification in case your alarm goes off.

Two packages are up for this application, the SmartStart VSM100 Module for cars that are already using Viper starting system. Another is SmartStart VSM400 system for new users.

These packages are priced at $299.99 and $499.99 respectively, there’s also a $29 monthly GSM service fee.
